When I was a child, my favorite place was a seawall. Wrapped in a blanket, I would sit for hours on the rocks
with the deep sound of the crashing waves blotting out my thoughts. It felt at once safe and mystical, earthbound and expansive.

I often return to the sea, whether in person or in meditation, and I remember ... here we are on this beautiful planet where we all belong.

Earth beneath me,
Water before me, mist on my skin,
Air in the whipping breeze around me,
Fire above in the strong sun or the soft light of the moon.

It is from something like this place that these melodies come.

While I write all kinds of music, it is my intention for The Seawall to be a place with melodies, meditations and earth's own sounds that offer comfort, peace and restoration.
